Want to get your prospecting off to a good start?

Let’s say you’ve psyched yourself up to do some telephone prospecting (no mean achievement ;)).

You’re not experienced at this but you’re determined to give it your best shot. You’ve picked up the phone and got through to your target individual so you introduce yourself and you now ask your opening question:

“Hi Mr Z, it’s Linda from CoZo. Do you currently …………………?” isn’t going to get you very far!

“Good morning Mr Z, my name is (your full name). I am calling from (your company), (brief description of what your company does for/ how you help whom). Do you currently …………………?” is more professional and therefore better but still probably won’t achieve the results you want.

I’m going to be mean and ask you to think of at least a couple of ways you could improve your chances of success!
